Harney County / Hammond Ranch Statement

We here at the Sugar Pine Mine have been made aware of the situation unfolding in Harney County, Oregon.

Although we fully support the Hammond family, we DO NOT support the splinter group currently occupying a Federal Government building to further their own agenda - whatever that may be.

Whatever the reason, whatever the motives of this group, this is not the way to deal with the traitors inside the rogue government agency called BLM.

The crimes of the BLM are so vast, so wide-ranging, that the Federal government will have to deal with the criminals who work for them.

We still believe in the LAW.

We still believe in JUSTICE.

We still believe in the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

We still believe there are good people, righteous people, who work IN government and FOR the people.

We still believe that we can, and will, win in court.

We hold these values and beliefs dear and we shall never surrender them.

We DO NOT and WILL NOT support any action that has been designed to inflame emotions or incite violence.  We DO NOT and WILL NOT support any action that will render a wife without a husband, nor children without a father.

Sincerely...
- The Sugar Pine Folks.

  1. Today is January 25th 2016. Please consider an update to your stance on the protest in Harney County Oregon. Please encourage people to learn about The Hammonds, who are now in prison for 5 years over BLM abuses, and also take note that 90%+ of the American Patriots that supported you; Support The Bundys standing up for the Hammonds against the BLM and DOJ. Thank you for not erasing this comment, it takes guts simply to type this stuff today.

  3. Jeff, our stance is unaltered - the taking over of the refuge was idiotic and we do not support it. The Hammonds themselves do not support it. The taking of the Malheur Refuge is not the same as the Bundy Ranch issue, just as the Bundy Ranch issue was not the same as the Sugar Pine. The Sugar Pine has surface rights and is legally 'as-patented.'

The owners of the Sugar Pine Mine have had their property destroyed by agencies previously. They had a reasonable expectation that their property was going to be destroyed again and took measures to prevent that from happening.

We do, however, fully support the message that the Bundy group were trying to convey - that the agencies are out of control and the federal government needs to hold congressional hearings. The god-like powers bestowed on BLM to enact their own laws and behave like thugs and thieves with impunity must be revoked. There is currently no oversight and they can do exactly as they please.

It alarms us that in light of the refuge occupation, the plight of the Hammonds has been all but forgotten. It may not appear on this site, but rest assured we are working on several 'issues' besides our own case and exposing to the light what needs to be exposed.
